2022 CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY (Please read carefully)
Hi paddlers, please ensure that you have fully read and understand the following policy regarding all refunds, transfers, and cancellations.
We strive to provide the best paddleboard experience possible and in doing so, we prepare months in advance. We have successfully hosted nine Kal Classics since 2010 but most recently, we were forced to cancel the 2018 Kal Classic due to extreme weather (forest fire smoke) and again in 2020 & 2021 due to the pandemic. Mother Nature has her own plans so we now have ours to ensure that we can continue hosting the Kal Classic.
Should the 2022 Kalamalka Classic be cancelled or postponed as a result of inclement, adverse or unsafe weather (including but not limited to forest fires, floods, earthquakes, winds, storms) or other events out of our control, we will make every effort to postpone and/or reschedule the race.
If we are forced to postpone and/or reschedule the race, we will make every effort to choose alternate dates that work the best for everyone. We are not able to offer any refunds, credits or transfers/deferrals for any changes.
If due to inclement, adverse or unsafe weather, or any other events out of our control, the event (in whole or part) is cancelled, we are not able to offer any refunds, credits or transfers/deferrals.
General refunds are available until July 21, 2022 at 80% of entry fee
General refunds are available between July 21-July 31 at 50% of entry fee
No refunds available after August 1, 2022. This is the point where we commit to incurring most of the expenses to organize the event.
